|
The civil and industrial water softeners of Cullwater are completely automatic equipments which transform the hardness of water composed by Calcium and Magnesium into salts of Sodium, that are soluble and not fouling. This transformation, called softening, is due to our particular cationic resin with ionic exchange called "Cullion". This resin is selected in the granulometry for a long period and a minimum consumption of the regenerative element (sodium chloride) necessary for the reactivation.
The hardness could be also removed for necessity but also for preference.
The softeners Cullwater, in the cabin, double body and duplex version, are built in various models completely automatic with connections from 3/4" to 3".
In according to the requirements, Cullwater codes them as regard the time, the volumetric analysis and the drinkable use.

Time command: The time command is able to start the regeneration of the softener on precise time and in according to estimated consumption of water. When the consumptions are variable and not estimable the regeneration can be effected in advance (waste of regenerative element) or in late (leakage of hardness in service), in this case it's advisable to install the volumetric command.
Volumetric command: The volumetric command is able to start the regeneration of the softener when the resins have run out their capacities of exchange with evident conservation of the regenerative element.
Drinkable use: The S series, in according to the ministerial regulations in force for the equipments for domestic use (DM 443 of 21.12.90) has a generator of Chlorine Gas which disinfects the system during every regeneration and it has also an exclusive equipment of mixing of the hardness at the auto-proportional service.
